The Untold Story of Lorenzo Dozier

My name is Lorenzo, you should know a few things about me at this point right? There is more to the story. A lot of people say my personality is what catches their interest. Well, the ones who really know me. Where should I begin? Let's start in Elementary... you know, the boy who was shy and quiet. I used to get picked on. Yeah, those were the days. During my time in the 3rd grade, I hated it. However, it actually helped me some time in the future because by the 4th and 5th grade, my life changed forever. I grew a backbone. I would love to thank one of my best friends who I no longer hear from Wilberth Marte. I would also like to thank Sharaya Scipio, another close friend, including a few others from P.S. 224 who I will not mention. You have all given me. [Charisma and Courage].

JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL: I.S. 218, 7th grade in particular because that was the year when I discovered my talent for writing. I cherish that year because I was a bit well known in 7th and 8th grade to favor the most. When Junior High School was over, I looked at my year book and saw these wonderful statements about being a good friend, being there for someone who needed that one person to talk too and humbling myself. Once High School, arrived, I told everyone I was moving to Texas after the 8th grade. Apparently, it only lasted for the summer since I came back to New York and went straight to the Bronx.

HIGH SCHOOL: The toughest four years of anyone's life. Samuel Gompers was just words can't describe. I felt like the new Kid on the block, being from Brooklyn stepping in another turf. I had to earn respect, I made some great friends and people. So many inspired me, I felt comfortable and appreciated. In 2007, I'll never forget the year my teacher, Mr. Noticed passed away. His death inspired me to reach my goal as a writer. It sucked I graduated without him seeing me "make it" . Later that year, I attended his funeral. Didn't break a tear, just paid my respects. I'll never forget that day. I made a promise to his family I would dedicate my book to him when it gets published. I share a few bad qualities in life. Who said life would be easy, but putting God before me made realize I can make anything possible. Always put him first. After High school, I received 100+ signatures from people who's lives I changed. I almost cried, thinking would I never see them again. Some students I still talk to till this day, but people come and go. I made several mistakes after High School, not HUGE ones like some people I knew or know. However, ones that hurt my image. It was things I was not proud of. But ain't shame to admit. I carried also this nickname "Hero" the path of a hero is to be there, supportive, kind, strong, focus and content even when negativity was thrown my way. I became a motivate speaker, who gave advice. My Goal after High school was to continue writing and get my book published. I started it in Freshmen year and finished in Junior year of high school. Graduation was the turning point of my life because it revealed to me who really mattered. It was either farewell, see you soon, or done for good. To think I pulled off knowing 100+ students to 30 to 10 (so to speak) in a heart beat after Summer 2008... I thank Mr. Reed, Ms. Brodsky, Ms. Greer, Mr. Griffin, Mr. Whaley and Ms. Shamey the most out of Gompers.

COLLEGE: It was time to focus on my profession. I did everything in my power to maintain a good GPA, have fun and enjoy the college experience. Down the road I dealt with someone. Didn't quite work out, but we remained friends. Though while being at school, my passion for writing grew and evolved. I began to unite people through my works of literature and help those in the midst of troubles. I have a small strong bond with people from the Bronx (You all know who you are), and just a few people in Brooklyn & Queens as of now. (You know who you are). Thank you everyone who helped me over the years, even the people who stepped out of my life or died: Grandmother (10/6/09) . Jennifer (10/9/10) (My twin friend), you all made me realize I have a purpose. Yes, I was called superman, but he's a comic figure... this is real life. I realize I made a positive impact on people and made sure I cleared up a share of b.s. I been through a lot. You will be surprise, Probably something you never been through what I have experienced. Here I am still standing. Some actually do know about my past life, what I experienced and learned over the years to overcome demons. We live in a World that fights like Boxing, you just have to win each match. Don't be so serious in life, Learn to enjoy it and have fun. Appreciate the good and the bad around you. Never know when God can take you in your sleep or at any time.I'm hated by the ungodly, loved by the close ones. If anything I'm just being myself... Fake ain't an option it's a choice. I Love my family especially my mother, you are my Life and Soul anyone can tell i am your Son and My siblings too :) we have our ups & downs, but I love them no matter what.

POST COLLEGE: My focus has been on writing. I'm on the road to officially being a published author. Time will tell. I been doing this for a decade and the hard work does pay off. I graduated from College in 2013 and work as a teacher assistant. I help children who are struggling in their academics or social life. Whatever goes on in their lives. You have to be a positive influence and help them believe they can make things possible. Just need a helping hand. Everything I tell you directly, the rest is history. You already know me. 2015: I fulfilled my dream on publishing my book and dedicated to the late Mr. Notice. I gave it to his wife in January. After 7 years of not communicating with her since his funeral. I lost "so called" friends over the years. Sometimes it would be over stupidity or excuses. But you have to let certain people go in order to complete your journey. They will only hold you back. I worked with Elementary and Middle school as I stated earlier in my post-college life. It's difficult at times because of the generation we're in. But doing my best to keep a positive attitude surrounded around negative people. There is one thing I want to accomplish in life, but who knows when it will happen.

But I will stick around with this _____ and see where it goes. Can't give up on what you love. It takes time. There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won’t anymore, and who always will. In the end, you learn who is fake, who is true and who would risk it all for you. Always let God be the driver of your vehicle on the path in life. That way you have his guidance and full support. If you attempt to fight him over the steering wheel, all you'll be doing is crashing and burning. So to stay strong, be consistent, correct your spirit everyday and be positive. Always.

What do I do today? I met celebrities, TV personnel, teach to the youth, run a web page (since 2011). I love to interact and use social media as a platform to connect with a wider audience. I've created some amazing memories and met some cool people over time. I have gain new friends and maintain classic friendships. I have gotten rid of toxic people and learned more about myself. I am a writer, an educator, a self published author, a social media network sensation to the wrestling community and want to continue helping as many people as possible. But never forget to HELP YOURSELF. BE BETTER!
